Bumber Removal for Grille Modification Needed?

New to the forums, so I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed. I have a 2013 S4 in Volcano Red and I'm planning on using Plasti-Dip with Glossifier to make the grille look like those equipped with the Black Optic package. I'm worried about the dip reaching the radiator/overspray get on the car. If anyone has done this and could help me out here, it would be much appreciated.

This or just use plastic or newspaper (what ever you planned on blocking off the rest of the bumper with) down in that area.

I would remove the bumper entirely so the job can be done properly. Do it once, do it right.

Removing the bumper is not hard at all. You just need a long extension to reach the bolts. You can do it on the ground without removing the wheels. When working on one side turn the wheels the opposite direction to give yourself room. So when you're working on the driver's side turn the wheels towards the passenger side.

I'm just worried about screwing up the removal/putting it back on. Can't find a guide on how to remove it.
