    Hello,

Has anybody noticed that compared to sport seats, comfort seats have more head and leg room in the Audi a7/s7? Why is it like this?

Love my comfort seats.. They have adjustable side bolsters, heat, AC, and massage.. Really comfy.

I can't say I sat in the sport seats long enough to notice more head and leg room. I can tell you I wouldn't give up the comfort seats though.

My wife and I have both (S6 and an S7). The sport seats are very comfortable and with the stitching, better looking. The comfort seats, while a little more normal in their looks are even more comfortable with the additional adjustments. I don't miss the slightly better side bolstering especially when I turn on the massage function which is VERY nice especially on longer drives. Honestly, it adds to the..."this car is special" feel of my S6. I do wish it had the sportier stitching though.

One of the reasons I bought a car with comfort seats is that eventually I will end up in florida and you have to have cooled seats. The seats with the massage function which I have gone into vagcom and turned up to 100% it is currently set at 65% are wonderful. Tracked the car and the adjustable bolsters were very handy keeping your ass in the seat.

How did you determine there was more room? Maybe it was seat placement when you compared the two, I haven't seen anything that suggests there is a difference in space between the two options. Really if there was going to be more leg & head room one would assume the seats with fewer features (sport seats) would have more room due to fewer motors/electronics.

Also not really the question, but I'll echo what everyone else said. Comfort seats are amazing - I wouldn't get anything else, they look great, they don't look "plain", but add so much to the car over the stock seats... only those A8/S8 owners get the diamond stitch on comfort seats... if only we did too :(.

I was about to look for ways to turn up intensity, and also duration on the massage function. Can you share where you found the setting?

Sure go into installed 2, then look for 88 multicont seat drivers, then adaption number 10, then channels, you will see one for massage intensity etc....

I had sport seats on my previous A7 and on my current i have comfy with massage and vents. All i can say, i was wrong when i choosed sport seats option instead of comfy on my previous buy. More leg room can be explained by more flexible ajustments of comfort seats, more room for head can be explained that you tryed out sport seats in the car with sunroof and comfys - without =) Sunroof eats like 3cm space of the ceiling. IMAO the space from head to the roof is the same on both seats with the same height ajustment.
