OK so after all these years of reading everyone else's problems I have a big one. My 05 A8 has it's normal share of codes that I ignore, and more recently the immobilizer has kicked in complaining about communication issues. Now more recently it has gotten to the point to where I had to clear the codes nearly every time I start the car but today is the kicker and I realize I can't get away with this anymore. I am a DIY'er that hates taking my car in but this time I think I am destined to see Audi very soon. Below is the stream of complaints from VCDS immediately after clearing everything. Now my car is in serious limp mode! What is the common issue here? blown fuses? water in a connection? bad controller or central unit? ugggh!
