I have a 2001 allroad 2.7t with a 6 speed trans. Motor was warn out so I bought a 2.7t out of a 2003 with a auto trans. How much of a headache will I have with the wiring?

Different engine codes. Apb vs bel. Bel is a better motor, just hope you got the harness with it. If not you can swap your accessories from your old motor over and use your old harness. YMMV

Just use old harness and switch whatever does not connect from old engine.

Dude just do a SAI delete on the BEL motor. You will have push down coils on the BEL motor so if you want you can either modify your existing harness, or just use APB valve covers with your coils from your shot motor. I can donate you some bolt down coils if you pay for shipping.

Your BEL motor should have different flanges on the ko3 turbos than your APB ko3's .. so your exhaust may not bolt up. Im not 100% sure about this, but I believe some were more circular or round, and the other flanges were more oval shaped.

I have both harnesses and the exhaust is different but I have those parts also. What is a SAI delete? Thanks for your help.

Secondary air injection delete. You remove the secondary air injection pump, the EGR valves.. you block off the EGR ports on the heads with these little block off plates.
