Driver door not locking with remote key fob

    Hey guys,
Recently I started to notice that my car wasn't chirping when I locked it. I thought it was odd but didn't think it was a big deal until I noticed that my driver door wasn't locking at all. All of the other doors are locked except for the driver door. When I use the actual key, all doors lock and the car chirps. I tried replacing the battery hoping it was just low, but the problem persists. Could it be the driver door lock actuator? Any way to test this to make sure? Just wanted some opinions before I went ahead and ordered one. Thanks,
    Tyler

Replace the door latch mechanism/actuator. The internal switch for the alarm fails. The part with the same part number can be bought from the Porsche parts dept for less $ than the same part in an Audi labeled box.

From what I have read on other posts, the doors do not lock with fob. I have the opposite happening on both rear doors. They do not unlock, so I have to reach in and get the handle to unlock them. Frustrating. I have had actuators replaced on 3 of the four doors before under warranty.

Is there a way to reprogram lock operation to see if that clears up issue?

Don't want to believe these parts are just of shitty quality.
