    BSH Intake Heat Shield

I found this intake heat shield that I want to use for my "custom" intake, but it looks identical for transverse and longitudinal engines which doesn't make sense to me. Anyone have any experience or know anything about this?

Also, is this a reputable company?

Its just a piece of metal. Not much can go wrong. I don't believe a black piece of metal is a heat shield anyway.

Thats for the VW FSI mounted motor. Its a heat shield that is mounted on the back of the motor (where the turbo is) and is supposed to block heat to the intake ducting
