    I just read in AutoCar RSQ5 coming next year...

    It will be in Europe in the fall and US the following spring with a 450HP engine.

    wow, my wife already says she wants one.

    Dang, nice. Sadly with the SQ5 being in the $60k+ range I bet the RSQ5 will be easily a $75k+ vehicle.

    That 2.5T is a sweet engine, but it's what they put in the TTRS and RSQ3.
    I'd rather see them do something bold with the 3.0T.

    They need to put the 3.0T aside and throw the 4.0TT in there.

    Given your response, I have reconsidered and fully concur.
    I mean, it's bigger and heaver than the RS4/5 and they get V8's.
    Around 550 HP wouldn't suck.

    Agreed. Watch how much time elapses between the Q7 and SQ7 releases. That will be the timeline, minimum for at least an SQ5 to drop from when the new Q5 hits our shores. RSQ5 timing will be at least with the SQ5 to +1 year after.

    new RS4 is a TT V6, no more V8's anymore in those cars (yes i know they are in older models)
