Hey everyone. New to the forum and this problem is what brings me here for your help. I have a lot of information, but no solution and I have spent the whole day chasing it with the help of vagcom and buddies. The car is a 2009 Audi A4 with 107k on the clock.
How it started: I was driving on the highway, put the car in tiptronic mode and ran through a gear. At higher rpm in 3rd i believe, the car started having the symptoms below.
Symptoms: running very rough and shaking, runs better (not great) at higher rpm/speed, strong gas smell, EPC light, blinking CEL on until I am going at a steady speed, white smoke coming from exhaust, and terrible MPG.
Information I gathered today that hopefully helps: changed all the coils and spark plugs which did not help, did a compression test and all cylinders were about ~160psi, when spark plug is removed from cylinder three bubbling gasoline is inside which produces a hissing noise, original spark plugs looked fine, moving plugs and coils does not effect the consistent P0303 code in cylinder 3
Vagcom data: P0300 (random misfire), P0303 (cylinder 3 misfire) consistent, P1250 (fuel level low) consistent, p130a (cylinder disabling) consistent
If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it very much. This has been a headache and need the car for work and would rather not bring it to the shop if we can figure it out! If you need anymore info please dont hesitate to ask.
