    Hood stuck

Working and hood fell, latch is disconnected and hood totally stuck. Searched, have tried from under and no luck. Grill is out, headlights are out, and I've been working it with a screwdriver all day long and haven't gotten it yet. Anybody want to chime in some magic?

You have to depress the part that is connected to the hood cable in our cabin. And then it will just pop open. Ive seen it in a few youtube videos, all the guy needed was grill out.

Since your grill is already out, shame on you!

There is nothing left that's connected to the cabin. The hood cable was disconnected from the locking mechanism when the hood fell. I can grab the cable freely and pull, it isn't connected at all to lock mechanism. All the YouTube vids and posts I have seen show it still in place at the locking mechanism and just needing to be moved/reseated. That's why I'm at such a loss 😖

You should still be able to push the mechanism that is holding the hood shut. I know its obviously easier said than done but dont give up. You dont wanna cut a nice round hole in your hood do ya?
