    2016 A3 Stalling Out

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys so I just picked up my new A3 yesterday and it stalled out twice already. Once when I was in reverse and another right after I started it up. Immediately after, I experienced multiple misfiring for a brief couple seconds until it cleared and the idle smoothed out. Car literally has less than 100 miles on it. I dealt with this as expected in my 10yr old A4 but damn not a day after delivery on a new one!! I am thinking it could be some vapor in the fuel from sitting on the lot...?? Has anyone added additive to their fuel or experienced anything like this before? I am hesitant to VAG it considering its a brand new vehicle. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Bad fuel pump...they're replacing it. I read these were a previous recall on earlier models but didn't know it would affect 2016's.

It could just be that rare case you got a defective part. Even manufacturing to six Sigma some bad items will get out there

In my opinion it is necessary to turn her directly to the concessionaire, these losses of performances are not normal!

Take it back to the Dealer - way too soon for these types of issues to be manifesting. Even if you get a "could not duplicate" from Service at least from your end the issue is documented.

Yes you have your warranty, don't add any additives. In my country (France) this is that we do (this is the technical link that confirms my right to compensation in case of power loss).
    Return to the dealer asap.
