S6 and RS6 Avant Parts in Maryland

Wanted to buy.... some of my old stuff that's worth anything may be for same after the spring

Figured I'd post up and let people know I'm in the market for a bunch of stuff in case folks were thinking of cleaning out the garage or parting out. No time table, just thinking ahead to stock pile parts for some upgrades in the spring.

All needs to fit a '02 S6. Based in MD, so bonus points and more likely to buy if nearby.


Widebody (S6/RS6/4.2) Headlights in great condition, tabs please, Euro w/ City Lights a plus.
- new antenna mount gasket
- New coolant overflow
- new or verified good air quality sensor
- new or verified good 4.2 headlight level sensors (rear/front), verify the lever isn't broken.
- S6 Silver Interior Front Light that has speaker openings for mic (onstar, okay)
- Working Rear cargo covers, no cracked plastic ends please, already got one of those :-(
- Rear hatch trim in black., This is for the 3rd Seat version per the part #'s. Willing to buy all or parts. Need to verify that triangle cover and rear sunshade mounts aren't broken

I could be tempted to pull the trigger on the following items (in priority order) for reasonable pricing:
- 17Z or 18z full swap kit
- Hotchkins Sway Bars
- Miltek or other SS exhaust, down pipes, high flow cats
- Euro Recaro Interior - all considered, silver alcantera w/ heat would be epic :-)
- Front RS6 Bumper/Mounts
- RS6 Side skirts and RS6 door flares
- RS6 Rear Spoiler
- Full 6 Speed Swap for S6 4.2

Did you try refinishing the headlights? Mine were really bad and now they're PERFECT after they were refinished.

Thanks, I did try a refinish, however didn't get some of the deeper scratches and quickly they yellowed. If I don't find a nice set, I'll take another more agressive approach with better uv sealant.

I'm good on a rear bumper. I'll let others jump in. Wide body Avant bumpers are a rare commodity.

Sorry peoples, my bad- I didn't realize the Sedan and Avant RS6 Bumpers were different. So to clarify, my bumper is from a Sedan and will not fit Avants.

I had my headlights refinished twice, the first time was similar to your results, but the second time I had it done by a better shop and the results have remained great for a year so far. They're so expensive, so I would try again!

Check ebay though, there's more than there usually is in the way of RS6 parts-
I was looking for the door blades/ skirts a while back and could not find any and now there's a ton, after the ship sailed.
