Black on Black S6 203k miles, new pads and rotors, tie-rods (inners and outers), steering rack boots, new front wheel bearings all done less then 3k miles ago. The cam adjuster failed on the left cylinder head (drivers side) causing the chain to jump, the mechanic says it has a few bent valves. The car is located in Santa Rosa CA

    Thanks

    This!

    Honestly I want to have a fleet of 2.7T swapped cars. 2.7T/01E to be specific. D2 A8 2.7T swapped, B6 S4 2.7T swapped, my C4 2.7T swapped lol.

I am very much interested in this for an RS6 Avant 6MT conversion. I've got the first two parts ready to go, this could be the perfect donor car. Pics when you can please.

I will get some pictures up later in the week. Now that the car is home I'm going to replace the chain guides then do a leakdown to see how bad it is. Im picking up a new car on 2/7/16 Atlas Grey S6 with a 6mt conversion, so this car is still for sale.

Sorry I'm still trying to figure out how to get the pictures loaded.

I will start with the bad
The paint on the hood is faded
The roof is starting to fade in front of the sunroof
There's a small dent on the left rear door at the bottom
Right front fender is tweaked, wheel came off at while making a U-Turn, all the wheel bolts sheered off
It has a repair from being hit in the right rear by the previous owner, I never saw the damage. I don't think the repair was done very well, the body filler is starting the crack below and around the fuel filler door
The engine doesn't run, I started to do a leak down to diagnose it better but I cant rotate it completely
    203,000 miles on the transmission

    Now the good
    It's a S6
    New Pads and Rotors
    New Front Wheel Bearings
    New Steering Rack Boots
New Tire Rods, Inners and Outers
Interior is in Great shape, I would say is a 7.5-8 out of 10
203,000 miles on the transmission, this may be a good one. I bought the car with around 107,000 and haven't done a thing to it

Overall this would be a great candidate for a RS6 conversion, I think you should be able to part it out for $2500.00 and keep the shell for a RS6 Avant

I will try to get the pictures up asap

    Guy

Thanks for the endorsement Bob, I love my car new car

Make me a offer, the car is still available. My plan was to do a more complete diagnosis to see if I could fix it and sell it for a little more money. After pulling all the cams and the left side head I can only get the engine to rotate about 45 degrees till it comes to a hard stop in both directions. I'm looking to move soon and don't have enough time on the weekends to work on it so please make me a offer. The timing chain guides failed on the drivers side, after pulling the head there are very light marks on the pistons from the middle intake valves. I filled the intake ports with water to see how bad the valves were bent and surprisingly there was almost no leakage, some of the valves on either side actually had more leakage then the center valves did.
