Hello whoever is reading and thanks in advance. Im looking to purchase a 2013 S5 and already had a bad run in with one of the dealers. The dealer told me since this particular s5 had the drive select features that it meant it had the sports dif which is incorrect as far as I know. Im pretty sure the 2013 s4 had two different packages that came with the drive select features ( the drivers assist package and/or sports dif package.) I wanted to know if there anyway I could tell by sitting in the car which package is on the car or if it has both? Is the drive select menu a bit different with either package? Also is having the adaptive cruise control and the steering wheel controls needed or is the sports dif good alone Also is there anyway I could tell if the car has the Audi ADS without taking the dealership word for it? Just need a couple pro tips. Thanks in advance!

Dealer should be able to get a window sticker, that shows all the feature it came with the car.

Get the VIN and call Audi USA to check yourself. That's what I had to do (I bought my car from a Porsche dealer and they couldn't access my car's info).

Also, sports diff is a must for the S5 in my opinion. ADS is nice to have but tends to be overrated - especially if you plan on any suspension mods down the road. I kind of wish mine didn't have ADS because I would've opted for coilovers rather than height adjustable springs.

The only way the dealer would be correct is if the car is a Premium Plus variant, as the Driver Assist Package was only an option for the Prestige version ... so says the 2013 S5 Audi Order Guide.
