RS5 cats are all the way up against the exhaust manifolds next to the engine. I believe it would require engine to be lowered to install. Eliminating the front resonators which a lot of people mistake to be the cats would be a lot easier and cheaper.

If you're looking for a little more sound, you would probably be better off replacing the stock resonator and mufflers with some quality straight-through ones. It will give you a big improvement over stock, without having to mess with your cars emissions equipment.

I replaced the stock resonators already. I dont want to touch the mufflers because i am afraid of messing up the drive select.

Just buy a Capristo. Has the valves so you can keep drive select

Why wouldn't deleting the restrictive catalytic converters improve performance?
A freer air intake with a header system with less restrictive catalytics further back or deleted altogether should definitely be an improvement.

Well for one NA cars aren't really that restrictive u will see maybe 5hp .. Second it's illegal .. I don't know if you're in the US but it's a $10,000 fine if you get caught .. Maybe worth the risk for you at 5 hp ..

We don't get emissions tested out in the cornfields of Illinois, but it's definitely not worth it for a measly 5hp...however, the Kline headers are gorgeous!

Why only 5hp? With a good intake and exhaust, a set of headers would definitely increase the engine's efficiency and power.

only my assumption .. i was wrong on the assumption the eventuri intake would only make 10 hp .. it ended up making 20 .. so i could be wrong here as well.. but in a traditional sense.. it would only be 5 hp
