Gang,
I'm trying to find out how to remove the entire headlight assembly from my B8.5 S4. I've searched, and searched. There are guides and videos, but they're all years old and it's different on the B8.5.
So here's what I did so far:
- Disconnect the cable connection.
- Four screws. Two up top, two down low behind the assembly.
So far so good. Let's assume we're removing the driver's side headlight and you're standing in front of the car facing the assembly. Here's where I'm lost:
- On the left side of the headlight, back, bottom corner there's a grey... cable? hose? Something connected to the light that clearly has to be disconnected before you can completely remove the assembly from the car.
- There's just enough slack in it to get it a few inches off the bumper. That's it.
- There are no obvious clips, fasteners, screws or anything else I could find to disconnect to free the assembly from the car.
Does anyone know what I need to do here?
Thanks in advance!
-Charles
