When Unitronic gets TCU tune.

I'm kind of waiting for Unitronic's TCU tune as well. I know any TCU tune will work, but it comes down to preference for me. I asked them the other day and it's still being developed and tested. At least the didn't tell me "two weeks". Cheers.

Do you have pull with the developers and testers at Unitronic? How are you trying to get them to step up? I don't follow at all. I spoke with them a couple days ago. The TCU Tune is in progress, but they won't just release something that hasn't been properly tested. What are you doing that's trying to get them to "step up"?

Makes perfect sense to me. The more people who show interest in a product the more likely they are to put effort into it or prioritize it. Not sure why people are giving him a hard time.....

but no flash at home for APR ?? and 800$ ish lol. do you need to flash back the tcu just like you need to do for an ecu to avoid td1 or the tcu tune can stay on at all times ?

and isn,t the APR having some jerkiness between shift ?

Yes you should flash to stock to avoid TD1. If APR had flash at home it would be heaven!

.. I agree ! :) Guess when you're on top, you can decide not to offer this option as ppl will still want to buy it.

I mildly agree with you there. I had APR stage 2 (awesome) on my 2010 S4 and am waiting patiently to tune my 2015. With EPL and Unitronic (with home tuning options) showing comparable results to the big boys, and 034 and JHM coming along, it's hard to argue for APR at this time. APR's silence is deafening.

And have been saying "soon" for years when asked about B8.5 program switching.

It's very exciting to see EPL and 034 actively tweaking their tunes and engaging with the community.
