How to verify if used car has been tuned... Chicago area RS 7 (Good Deal?)

I have been lurking these forums for quite some time while waiting for my BMW () lease to expire. I have been a long time Audi loyalist and moved to the dark side for about 1.5 years and now need to get my rings back. For months I have been searching for lightly used RS7's and think I may have found one in the southwest Chicago burbs. I went and looked at it, beautiful, clean, smelled new, good tires, yadda yadda.

The 3rd party dealer states that it is stock and it looks to be except for the tinted windows. I attempted to call my local Audi dealer who has serviced many of my cars and they would not disclose the cars service history or TD1 flags. I just called APR and they would not tell me if the car had their software, stating I need to have the selling dealer take it to a APR shop, like that's going to happen. Odd because they did tell me via phone a few years ago when I was buying my last S4... (im not asking for every detail of the car, just a Yes its tuned or No its not would be crazy helpful)

Does anyone have a recommendation of the easiest way of finding if its tuned? I frankly wont buy one until I know because I don't want to deal with the potential outcomes of a previously tuned car. I will likely tune in the future but need it to be on my conscious should something happen, not get angry at the selling dealer for not knowing.

Also- opinions on the deal...??!

What should I offer? So many RS's have been on the market for 3-4 months in the mid 90's with similar mileage. I was thinking 88k

Do you care if it is tuned or if it is TD1? If the latter contact the dealer and have them run the VIN. If the car is not Certified be suspicious.

Local dealer would not tell me but sounds like my old Michigan dealer that I used to purchase from will let me know if it's flagged on Monday.

I would not pay more than 85 to maximum 87K for a 2014 especially on a Black color🤔

You weren't that far off with the $88k - my opinion is that I would start at $85k and see where you end up. Ultimately its worth how much you are willing to pay for it.
