Quiick question about LED DRL Ballst

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am trying to source a LED DRL Ballst for my halogen to bi xenon mod. And I've read through all the DIY and I can't seem to find any part numbers. What I want to know is when I am looking up the part number for the ballast there seems to be many different revisions and I just wanted to confirm so I don't order the wrong one because the lowest priced one I found is in Germany so I would rather not waste my time or money.

This is the part number I have
    4G0 907 697 A

    I have found them ending in A, D, G, H, J, and I think even a couple others.

Can anyone confirm what the most updated part is. Also I thought I read in one of the DIY that the coding was different for one or some of these? Anyways, any help is appreciated. TIA

The one I'm looking at buying on ebay ends in H

There is no ballast for the LED's. The ballast is for the xenon/HID bulb.

I don't know the part number exactly but look on HIDconcept.com. They should have it, and if it isn't obvious from the site I'd suggest calling them; in my dealings with them they've been extremely knowledgeable and their prices are good.

The correct part number is above....

    4G0 907 697

What i need to know is which ones can be used or if anyone knows which is the newest revision because i'm guessing thats why theres so many different ending letters. And I'm trying to find the best price I can.

Also I found out the one ending in H says its for the 8S cars the A6 and some other models. Our cars being 8K I'm not sure if we can use that one. They look identical tho.

Thankfully I saw gunnarks post before he deleted it. I am pretty sure this is the other module I am looking for.

Can anyone confirm I am correct, I need 2 of these?
And then 2 ballasts like Oscar posted above and 2 bulbs.

I already have the kufatec adapter and the headlights. But my headlights didn't come with any bulbs, control modules, or ballasts. So I'm pretty sure that's correct. But if anyone can confirm that would be cool.
