Guy making custom SS brake lines?

I can't find the thread, and being in a hurry and a bad spot doesnt help. There was a guy in the forums in the q5 brake upgrade thread that was making custom lines. I have a slightly different issue but I'm sure its one that guy can help me with.

I need a set of lines from b6 body hard line to b7 caliper direct. That will eliminate that stupid bracket and hard line conflagration that Audi decided would be a good idea. This is the way every other car i've had ran its brake lines so I see no problem doing it, and should be a lot more cost effective than finding all the silly brackets and such, while also being an upgrade (because my rubber lines are SHOT)

    please PM me!

Sorry in advance for this stupid thread, I really did search, but I don't have time, I'm at work and under the gun to get my car back together ASAP.

    THANKS!

Your post doesn't really make sense, hence no replies.

B6 and B7 calipers use the same flexible brake lines.
From the chassis hard-line, the factory flexible lines don't have a hard-line piece.

Well I may not have done a proper job of explaining myself. It makes perfect sense to me. Can we agree that the factory setup is as follows: hard line from abs pump -> body tab -> flexible line -> bracket ->curly hard line -> caliper.

This is the same basic setup between B6 and B7. The b6 and b7 do indeed use the same flexible lines, as verified by ECS and others. However, the b7 uses a significantly different bracket and curly hard line, which are both very expensive compared to the b6 parts, but also IMO completely extraneous. Hence the desire to eliminate the bracket and curly hard line with a line that goes directly from body to caliper.

I hope that clears it up.

My ultimate question remains, does anybody know who the guy was making the custom lines for all the Q5 brake upgrade folks? I have searched and can't find the thread anywhere.

edit: it should also be noted that the reason for this is mostly because those little hard lines won't come off my calipers without getting destroyed, so I haven't been able to do much since I can't risk breaking my brake system as this is my only car at the moment (yeah, I know...) I have an aversion to putting silly stock shit back on my car especially when it costs $$ that I don't have.
