Does anyone know if the roof rack for the A4 fits any other cars? A5, Q5 or anything?

I know the Whispbar S5 rack fits a 2015 Jetta requiring only a change of the feet. Not sure about the OEM setup but it should be possible with minor changes if the parts are removable.

I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
I have neither the time, nor the crayons to explain this to you properly.

i'm fairly certain the thule fit kit is the same for the A4 and the S4 so i would assume the factory rack fits both as well.

I know it fits the A4... Just wondering if an A5 or Q5(doubt it) share the same rack

Does anyone know where to get the hardware that slides in the slot. I understand this is Thule but I cannot find it. Also curious if the attachment system works with Yakima so I dont have to wrap the big rubber strap around the cross bar. It would be really nice to see it ride flush on top of the bar.

Q5 OEM roof rack will NOT fit an S4. Q5 has roof rails, while the S4 has a "naked" roof, so the attachment points are different. I called my Audi dealership to see if there was a way to modify a set of Q5 racks (off my mom's car) to fit on my S4, but there is no way.

Ended up picking up some Yakima Whispbars off my local Craigslist for a great deal and i couldn't be more pleased!

Because I'm too lazy to do the work for you (LOL) I will point you in the right direction though. Again this is for Yakima (too lazy to check Thule's website but I know they'll give you this info as well) - if you enter both cars they will give you a break down of all the parts that each kit will need - look at the differences and you'll have your answer.
