Bluetooth audio lag

There seems to be about a 0.5-1 delay whenever I stream audio from my phone to the MMI via Bluetooth. It's very noticeable whenever I watch like Netflix or YouTube vids.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix??

I have an iPhone 6plus with the latest firmware if that matters.

It happens for me with BT & USB in my 2016. There are a bunch of settings in VCDS for audio delay but all are set to 0 or 100ms, and none I've changed seem to have any impact on the lag.
