Anyone tried this exhaust drone/loudness fix?

I came across this thread on here but under the B8 sub-forum for a cheap fix for exhaust drone and loudness:

Has anyone tried this or done something different on a B6 or B7 and how successful was it?

I've got a FI system on my B6 S4 and am trying to get the cabin noise down a bit.

Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated.

i have dynomax ( i think thats the name) lining the floor of my trunk, works pretty darn well. i too have FI non res exhaust with catless dp's AKA 1 step away from nascar loud.

I did this on mine. Drone from 1500 - 2k is killer with the TIP. It did quiet it down a bit,. I did purchase a couple of J pipes. I haven't installed them yet. Probably next week since I just did piggies and has gotten a bit much on the low rpm's .
