Question for BBK Stoptech expert???

Hi,

someone is selling me a brand new Stoptech for a SUPERPRICE!!!! (sold is subaru)


SUBARU
Impreza WRX STi v7-9 (5x100mm & 5x114.3mm Bolt Circle)
2004 - 2007
F
ST-60 355x32 83.838.6700.XX


In the stoptech website the part number for Audi S4 b8 is different
AUDI
S4 (B8 Chassis)
2010 - 2011
F
ST-60 355x32 83.114.6700.XX



But I dont Know if I can put it on my S4 b8 2011 , the disc is the same size, the bolt circle is OK.

Anyone have experience wit this situation???


I suspect about the precaliper structure?? but I don know.

Any comments are welcome.

I would contact stoptech and find out what the total piston area of the WRX version of the ST-60 is vs. the S4 version. If it's too high or to low you could get the Front/rear brake balance out of an acceptable range.

No. Just because the diameter of the rotor is the same does not mean it will work. There are many factors in play.

All of the following are almost certainly wrong:

Rotor Offset
Rotor Center Bore
Caliper Mounting Hole spacing

Also, as mentioned above, the pistons are likely smaller than is optimal due to the STi being a much lighter car.

Finally askin to STOPTECH get a excellent article from Erik Steinkamp, Is not posible to install other car kit.
