Hello guys. im alex, i was hoping to get some help regarding some engine code issues i have right now on my B6. here are the codes....

17700-Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat (F265)
P1292 - 004 - Open Circuit ( i just changed the whole thermostat assembly, still getting this code)

    17939-Camshaft Timing Adjustment
P1531 - 004 - Open Circuit ( i bought from audi dealership the camshaft positioner sensor, installed it already)

    18080-Coolant Fan Control 1
P1672 - 004 - Open or Short to Ground (the fans are running all the time even when the car is not on, due to this issue the fans kill the battery. currently i
have disconnected the fans. although the car seems to be running fine and no overheating issues.)

please help my guys to all these issues i am having. keep in mind that my car is running good, no idling problems,no weird noises, nothing pretty much.

Have you reset them to see if they come right back?
    Sounds like an open wire(s).
Do you have en diagram/schematic of it?
"Are you actually asking that question.. Just don't even post on my thread. why do I need to lie on an Audi forum about me fucking two bitches at once. (not literally) yes i did, you are late to the party.
and this thread has ran out of gas. I just wanted to tell people about my experience I had 2 nights ago and felt like sharing it with my fellow B6'ers. And I thank the people who didn't hate."

I did try to clear them and came right back. Perhaps this is a electrical issue?

When fans continue to run with the car off it is usually water in the ECU box. Not sure if this is your problem but it is worth a look.
