    Headliner drooping

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
My son noticed the headliner drooping in the area behind the driver's side passenger seat.

Sigh, it's only about 8" bubble right now.

Any temp solutions without having to do the whole thing?

Not that I know of. I know you're not ever suppose to try to clean the head liner for this reason. You could try to hear the bubble up with a hair dryer, or heat gun to heat up the glue. And see if it stick to it.

    Thanks guys.

Found some crazy hacks on YouTube for this! Some lady stapled her headliner and then sprayed aqua net to make it stick and then removed the staples, all with a straight face.

Looks like replacement is the only way to go. Too bad the visors and plastic bits are expensive to get in black because I would love a black headliner.

Some kinds of headliners can be repaired by an upholstery shop by injecting glue through it (with a needle, I assume) and sticking the fabric back. If there's a place near you, it could be worth an ask.
