3m Pearl Satin White before & after

Thought you guys might appreciate these early iphone photos - a tiny scratch showed up on my hood the other day and I decided I'm tired of dealing with random idiots irreversibly scratching my paint, so I started looking into wrap options and pulled the trigger the next day. I've always been jealous of Ibis white rs4s so I figured I'd go that direction and spice things up with the pearl. Huper optik 30% all the way around in case anyone is wondering about the tints. I'm happy with the results but wish I took the car to a nicer, more expensive shop because a few panels weren't cut perfectly so I'll end up touching those up at a nicer place and spending more $$ :(... Spent around 2600$ originally.

Nice transformation. That shot by the propane tanks reveals the pearl. Reminds me of the pearl white Shiro 300ZX.
I vote to wrap your grill surround black as well.

I was gonna decide on the grille after I install the filler plate - I like the titanium oem+ look but something about keeping the chrome makes it feel more luxurious to me.

Also, yeah, it's crazy how different it looks in low light - has a purple-ish hue. Will have nicer photos soon enough.

Why is the RS4 badge on the right side before the wrap then left (which I believe is the correct side) after the wrap??

I bought the car used with 35k miles and for whatever reason the emblem was on the wrong side, i just left it for a while. Makes me wonder if my paint on the trunk is original .. no accidents reported on the car though

$2600 for everything. Like i said, wish i spent more or did more research bc a few areas aren't perfectly cut and you can see some grey.

Not exactly a bargain compared to dipping but 3m vinyl can last up to 7 years if garaged and it's the only way to go if you don't want a matte finish

If you can see some grey, I would bring it back. $2600 is a lot of money to pay for a job that's not done properly. Otherwise, looks good.

Yeah, there are plenty of car-bro shops out there that'll ask for 4 or 5k and promise you instagram glory or whatever lol. I shoulda spent more though - shop owner was flaky, took twice as long as promised, and seems to have gotten lazy on a panel or two, all despite stellar yelp reviews. Not gonna name drop but maybe next time i'll settle for the doosher bro shops.

Alot of the new liquid wraps have pearl effects, satins, mattes, you name it.
