Thank you! Damage wasn’t awful but the insurance quote on parts was ridiculous. Around $5500 for the bumper and grille alone.

I sourced a hood and fender from the junkyard and bought the front end on alibaba. Made out pretty nicely all things considered.

Got a PCV and Intake manifold runner control stuck code on the b8 sq5 so gotta get maintenance service instead of making Das Madchen faster …. Instead of that AWE exhaust I’ve been eying

The person I communicated with was pretty helpful. My first time using alibaba.

I inquired before I bought and they said it was available in their US warehouse (I think that specific one is from China). They sent me the order instead of me directly checking out with that one.

Apparently there was some issue with fedex and it caused a delay and ended up getting shipped by a furniture delivery service, so maybe ask about that beforehand. I had it shipped to a business address but had I known that I would’ve just sent it to my house.

Took 14 business days to show up. But the fitment and finish is pretty damn good so no complaints from me considering it was something like half the price of CAPs.
