What did you do to your Q/SQ5 today?

Just ordered mine. Where did you mount it?

It was a bit tricky, but from the sensors that it plugs in to, perpendicular toward wheel wells, then back to the strut bar. Used zipties to secure the box between the strut bar and firewall. I also used electrical tape to wrap the wire against the strut bar.

Drove to CO the day after completing install; very impressed with the gains considering amount of money spent.

Only picked up one speeding ticket on the trip. It is shocking how stable these things are at what I consider to be high speeds.

I did this as well, and I checked on the heat transfer from the bar to the box, and the box was scorching hot. Don't know how long or for what duration the box can sustain those temps, so moved it to behind the driver headlight.

Yes i have an APR stage 2 tune. I don't have any dyno plans, but i can't wait to get home and log. I logged before i dropped it off at the shop, and there was headroom available. Now i want to see if im bypassing boost.

275/40R20 DWS 06. I probably could have gone to 285 but there are a lot fewer tire options at that size.

Lowered right? Curious as to you're alignment specs and images of how the fit relative to the fenders.
My set will end up being 10" ET23 so yours will give me a better appreciation on how they'll fit.
I considered these as well but wanted something in 21/22". If these came in one of those, they would have been purchased already.

Yup lowered on H&R with ground-to-fender at 30.5” front and back. I don’t have my alignment specs anymore, but they were within spec at the time.

I’ll take some pics to show how flush they are when I’m back at the car. I think there's a slight bit of poke up front but not past the fender guards. That was actually another reason why I went with 275s instead of something wider. If you went slightly more negative on the camber, it would probably be perfectly flush.

I wish they made the TE37s in 21", but technically these are my winters (LOL), and that probably wouldn't work too well on NYC roads. Granted, I may end up throwing snows on my stocks 21s if I don't sell them.

Try convincing them that having ambers and diffused light patterns is "cool" so we can get rid of our stock US headlamps lol.

You'll also be happy to know that ONEighty said no way to open the Q5 headlamps.

When it comes to wheels, same boat. After seeing S-Fore's 21x10 with 285/35R21 and the H&R SQ5 sold be on the sizing. Love the tire profile and allows for a nice profile for any custom wheels and allows me to try the 21" LMs with adapters which will end up with an ET23. I have some adjustable control arms inbound to tweak the fronts.

It is but I don't have any details on the offsets. Being H&R I'm sure spacers were used even though those are custom OZ Racing wheels. I'm guessing mid 20s.

Wheels ship with week and word from Adaptec is the adapters will be done this week and will ship as well (though they will take a week they said due to mail not FedEx). Though its getting warm, there still a bit of freeze/thaw that will go on through March causing a ton of potholes as well as lots of road sand/salt. I tend to wait till road work is done and Johnny Sweeper comes by and takes care of most of the crud on the roads. Generally April is when I install my summers, but if spring comes early then I'll take advantage of it.
