I loved them on my previous car and now while I try to sell them, I know I'm going to miss them. Yesterday's convo with Mops made me realize it was possible for the SQ to have them too.

basic concept is, if you hit the button it tries to release the door, but if the door is already in "open" position, then the module will wait for the door to finish its logic then "press" the close button on the hatch. so just tricking it and then wait a second and the door closes

Nice! I just found out yesterday I could no close from the door button. Annoying. Install difficult? I do not do electrics.

he made it pretty simple. if you google there are threads on AW i think i saw a DIY thread. super easy install, just remove the panel, mount the module in there and then tap a few of the wires coming off the button harness.

I got this for my first SQ. I almost forgot to remove it before releasing it. So...install...uninstall...install again...easy peasy. It has come in handy several times. Today, in fact, I had my hands full but instead of putting something down to press the button, I just pressed the one in my pocket with a free finger and voila! Another time, I had opened the hatch to load some stuff and sat in the car to determine what I needed. When I realized I had all I needed, I started to get up to close the hatch. I just flipped the button in the driver's door and voila again. It really is a handy device.

haha yeah i have a dog. so i often times pop it open to let her out when i get home, feel like an idiot walking over to the door to close it every time.
