Question Garage door home link set without garage door opener

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am trying to setup the home link / garage door opener on a 2013 A6.

The problem is there is no actual garage door opener remote - all have been lost and the typical workflow does not work.

I did try pushing the button on the back of the door motor and home link at same time but it never synced.

Any advise with be wonderful - thanks!

Unfortunately you gonna need a remote, otherwise you won't be able to program the homelink in your 2013 A6.

What superswiss said and this is the C6 forum. You might get a better answer in the C7 section.

Thank you for this. I found a remote and will go through the normal workflow.

    Thanks!

Sounds like you have it squared away, but when we moved in to our latest home we had to pick up a couple of generic remotes for about $15 each. That has worked great on several cars with Homelink. Good luck!
