I thought of the many hurdles one may encounter when removing an axle for their first time.

Arjunzine!!!! Where do you hide these days?

Brandon is gone, you're safe here now.

I've done that before. I find it easier to use the jack handle as a cheater bar on the end of a breaker though. Turns like butta.

Haha, I'm sure Brandon will cross path's with this forum again. :D

Over the last several months, I've come to appreciate to never install shabby parts on a European Car. The Corteco Engine mounts have lately been clunking, perhaps under-torqued? Or rather, quality for what I paid for, lol.

Every time I back up the car, the front suspension squeals. I took care of my power steering issue a month ago, after I spotted some power steering fluid leak, and the fix was relatively simple; just had to re-tighten the top-most clamp in front, situated between the intake manifold and timing belt cover. I added a tiny amount of power steering fluid back into the reservoir to make up for the loss. Power steering fluid works well now, however, the tie-rods will have to be replaced inevitability.

I guess we can say, its not wise to hide these problems away under the carpet Yet, learning how to do things the right way has really helped me a lot thanks to you and others on this awesome forum.

I have seen worse so comparatively this is not a bad option when air tools or a 48" 1" drive breaker bar isn't available. I have one I use on Unimogs and Vanagon axle nuts.
