    Will the AWE exhaust fit on my Milltek Catless bypass pipes?

    I'm wanting to switch over to the AWE system. I love the Milltek but with the newborn baby I think it's a bit too loud. I want to keep my bypass pipes but want to make sure the AWE system will mate up to it?

    There is a good chance it will, since both systems are designed to fit the OEM downpipes, so the Miltek pipes should also fit the AWE.

    However Im not sure if the AWE will make the system any quieter, especially if your staying catless....

    Ive found the AWE guys very responsive to questions, so you may want to shoot them an email, or alternatively ping the guys from TAG who are also very helpful and will sell you the AWE at a great price

    Also search YouTube for AWE with catless downpipes - you wont find an Audi (I don't think) but there are a few BMW's - and they sound like baby waking monsters!

    Can't be louder than my Milltek non res, I'm pretty much straight pipe from the turbo none res downpipes to center silencer then straight pipe to the tips. It sounds incredible and I ge compliments on it everywhere I go but my wife is pissed!!! Poor little baby....

    Switching to the AWE catback will make the interior quieter over your current setup, but it will still be loud outside. I'm not sure if she's mad when she's in the car or outside of it, but their mufflers do amazing things.

    Yes, she could care less of the outside volume just wants to kill the boominess inside the cabin at low rpm. I'm very aware of AWE products, I have the full system on my B8 S4 and love it.

    Oh, then you should be good. I'm also trying to figure out if the new APR setup will bolt up to the AWE catback. I know the AMS downpipes should as they are supposed to taper down, but I'm still sitting on the fence waiting to see how both sets perform after release.

    So far no one from AWE can tell me if they'll bolt up to my bypass pipes, Milltek hasn't been any help either. Guess they don't want each others parts to play nicely.
