Replaced door lock vacuum pump - program key fob?

Door locks were not working anymore.
Found shattered carbon disc in vacuum pump.
Replaced with used pump, locks working now.
But remote does not work.

I have only one key/remote. How can I program remote key fob?

I tried the VAGcom suggestions (car has 35 module, not 46) but don't seem to see the applicable 'settings' (or missing additional keys to perform).

I would get another key and use the 2 key method. Does anyone know the vagcom way and successfully done it?
