Can't help you since I'm not from around there but I'd call a few of your Audi dealers near you and ask if they are a revo, unitronic, giac, or apr dealer. If they are, chances are they are mod friendly. My local dealer just charges the removal/installation of the tune of any warranty work is needed.

I was at prestige audi in north miami beach recently for my 25k service. They're pretty good. Even talked to the service advisor about mods and said they generally don't see a lot of problems with modded cars. He even gave me some recommendations on some good shops in miami to do work. I'd recommend giving them a call and seeing what they say

I think the term Mod friendly is no long a valid term as with the new systems and AOA guidelines their hands a kind of tied once the car requires to be hooked up to the computer. That being said the best service department is the one most willing to help when you have issues, without a hassle, and to the best of their abilities. All of that said go see Chris S. at Pines and the Service manager is Terry they have a great bunch of people there. I drive past Coral Springs everyday bit still take my car all the way there for all service if that means any thing. I have known Terry since 2003, and he has watched over my B5, B6, B7, and now B8.5 S4's. If you have to go to Coral Springs Steven M is your guy, I have known him as long as Terry, and would be mine too if it weren't for the Service Manager. There are times when no one can help you get past the things we do, but the right person trying to fight for you and softening the blow is well worth the trip.

Just my 13 years of AOA experience in SoFL, hope it helps.

Not exactly true. There are ways around this problem.

When I had mine in for an MMI issue, I overheard one of the service guys at the Coral Springs location telling a customer that he is being held accountable for the damage cost personally as he had his car tuned. Given, I do not know the extend of that guy's issue, but I have also heard from others that the Pines location is worth the extra drive.

Has anyone been to the new location on Federal in Ft.Laudy?

Same dealer as Coral Springs, the old service manager from Springs is now at Federal. Just go to pines man, if anyone can help they will. If they can't you are screwed anyway.

I'd love to know how, as my understanding is once the car needs to Diagnosed its scanned and that report is also sent to AOA. Is there something I'm missing?

I know that a RS7 just got flagged at pines but it had some serious issues from what I gather. May have been the result of a piggback that was left on during service call.

It wouldn't surprise me if AOA reads these forums, so I'd rather not post detailed information. PM me and I can explain how I've manage not to be flagged.

Just have the tune wiped and the original ECU code put back on before taking it into service. I know of a few people who do this and they haven't been flagged.
