Projector lense question?

So I've been considering changing up all my exterior bulbs, and obviously to go along with that I want to upgrade my projector lenses. I was on "The Retrofit Source" and I know that our lenses are 2.5" and I know most people use the TSX-R lenses but I was just curious what the difference between all the 2.5" lenses like the TSX-R lenses, Black lenses, and the FX-R lenses?
