Was bored today and was scanning the receipts from the previous owner, made the mistake of adding them up. Yeesh. And that doesn't include repairs covered by his extended warranty.

Oh man, I keep a running tally of my own costs

And I do my own labor, ridiculous if I didn't.

It's nice when the PO dumps money into it though, right?

I think the oil cooler coolant leak was the final straw for him, $15 part X 100 for labor.

When he PO sold it it had....
    Bent rims.
    Bad transmission.
    Needed body work.
    Disgusting not clean interior.
    Leaking coolant, leaking oil.
    Busted grille, bad badges.
And plenty of other bad things.

I can only imagine how cheap Kevin Black picked it up for, probably $3k. Maybe less.

I spray lithium grease all over all hinges and what not every winter. I replaced a door lock mechanism on my passanger rear door, kinda expensive part, and need a second hand when doing it!

I'm getting these this when the car comes out for the season, it's an option that I've always drooled over:

My humour and wisdom do not match my age. Not sure if it's good or bad; however, I am happy that it attracted an older girlfriend who is currently the bread winner!

    Winning.
