Yup the ones going into the hi beam reflector is the city lights. There should be a plug with different color wires iirc.

You don't. The car harness only connects to the headlight unit on the outside.

That is for the leveling motors. Did you have Xenon headlights before? If so you need to swap them and then rewire that connector.

Ok good to know. I don't have leveling motors the original headlights were just halogens. So i shouldn't have a problem leaving them disconnected right?

This is something that you should really consider as a preventive measure for your Depo housings. It doesn’t take much effort and will eliminate a very common failure point. Clicky click®

slight necro bump here, are all B6 E-Code headlights wired for single or dual filament turn signals?

I figured they had the socket and wiring for single filament, and therefore no parking lights and only turn signals. BUT! according to the description on ECS, the Depo E-Code lights require a euro socket and single filament bulb:

Does not include bulbs, uses a D1S main beam with a H7 high beam, and requires use of turn signal bulbs es251931 with socket es514019. City light bulb available as es7535.
ES514019 is the Euro Single Filament Bulb Holder.

    So now I'm confused.

As I've also switched over to these headlights, are there any dimensions available for the metal tab? Size of screw? My passenger headlight seems to like to fog up at the sign of oncoming rain/snow. Haha. Want to try to get these water tight as I'm also planning on doing the Bi-Xenon upgrade.

I'm out of town and my car isn't so I can't measure the tab. I just found a strip of metal that fit between the ribs of the plastic tab and drilled a hole to match the wire clip. I then found a small SS nut and bolt and drilled a hole that matched into the other end of the metal strip and stuck it through the hole.

    Done.
