    Amber turn signal delete?

Anyone know if this is possible?

The euro version looks so clean without it. I'm really jealous. Anyone know how I can remove the amber signal? I know it's illegal, but I want to do it on a separate pair for shows.

Is there a thread somewhere about the proper way to open them up? Also what color do you paint them, just a silver? Would you need to do a VAG delete, what's it actually deleting?

The vag delete just turns off the light inside the yellow part. It doesn't actually get rid of the yellow reflectors.

Painting them changes the headlight lines and makes it not as attractive imo.

You can put a window tint on them to make them less obvious, but again, not as attractive.

I'm wondering if anyone here ever tried breaking them from inside and pulling them out.

The amber cannot be removed. A couple of people opened the headlights up (a very involved, painful process), and the amber piece has a hole behind it for the light source, so it would look even uglier if removed. If there was an easy way I would be the first one in line to do it.
Like it was mentioned vagcom can turn it off but even then a little light bleeds through from the DRL strip. Or replace them with e-codes (expensive).

I think they made the amber even worse with the facelift, at least on the 7 series it is on the bumper so it's much easier to cover up.
