01 a6 abs and brake light flashing!

Hey everyone, I need help, my 01 audi a6 2.8 has the solid abs light and flashlight brake light, I've been told it's the abs module. I have another 2001 Audi a6 2. 8 I can take module from trans went but abs was good. Can I just switch out the module and we're good to go? Car won't connect through obd due to abs fault as far as I've read and I need to pass the emission test in three days. Amy help is much appreciated hopefully it's plug and play! Thanks

Also if I just unplug the abs module would I at least be able to scan the car for readiness monitors? I'm almost driving on an expired plate sticker now lol
