    Hello guys :) .
I have a question. I have a Audi A4 2013 2.0 TDI. And it is on 193.000 KM now. Someone told me that soon i need to change timing belt.
But i still don't know if i have timing belt, or timing chain.

Sorry, i don't know to much about autos, so for that i found this forum, and i wanted to ask if anyone knows :)

i know the 2009 A4 has a timing chain, i'd only imagine anything newer will also have the chain, pretty much most new cars do now.

but yes you have a chain.

He has the TDI 2.0 diesel. I'm fairly certain they run the toothed belt.

Timing Belt – replace at 110K miles (175,000 km) on TTS or 130K miles (205,000 km) on A3 2.0L TDI only. Check condition of timing belt tensioning system, dampening pulleys and idler pulleys, and
    replace if necessary

Chain it before its too late, mines snapped while driving, at 99k miles (damage, the head, cam shaft, and everything else in there )

His car is a 2.0tdi. They are 150% surely belt driven, I've done timing belts on a few.

The changing interval is 180 000km or 6 years, which ever comes first. I did oneat 160 000km and everything was still OK apart from a bearing on one idler.
