    Question Faulty parking sensors.

So my b7 has front and rear parking sensors. Neither the front of rear sensors work? when activated they produce a long beep. I've scanned the car and it says "rear right sensor, open or ground to short". Now I've bought a new genuine sensor, will this fix the fault of is it something else?

Make sure that the sensors are clean and angled correctly in the bumper. If you have a vagcom then you can go into the measuring value blocks to see the sensor readings.

Or you could just throw a new sensor at it. Pretty sure that a new sensor has to be painted to match your car as well.
