Proud owner of a 2005 Ultrasport. Came out after work today to find.... Someone had stolen the center caps off my OEM wheels!! Right in the parking lot in front of my building! And it's a Government building... Lots of cops around all the time. They even used the little puller tool because there isn't a scratch on my wheels. Is my 11 year old car still that cool that people want to steal parts off of it? Is this a thing? Anybody else have this happen to them? Not necessarily the center caps but any parts off your car?

PS: If anyone has some center caps for OEM Ultrasport wheels laying around send me a message please. Thank you

Too bad, if I remember you can get them cheaper at ECS than Ebay. Part number you want is 8D0601165K1H7. I lost one on the highway somehow one day. How do you like the look with no centers? Some prefer.

You certainly don't need the puller to remove them so I wouldn't assume that, something as simple as a nail with a bent tip will pull them right off (or even a coat hanger), that's what I use. I would suspect it was someone who works nearby as they likely were prepared to take them ahead of time. I don't think you are just walking through a parking lot and decide to take all the center caps off a car with only a very specific application. I guess keep your eyes out, if it's anything like around here I haven't seen those wheels on any other vehicle in 4 years of ownership.

That sucks man. I have heard of UltraSport foglight grills being nabbed. Wheel caps? That is low.

Yeah, it sucks if someone steals parts from you´r car.
About 2 years ago, I head that someone tried to steal a front bumper of an D2 while it was parked at the beach. Like, really?? That's the lowest of low.

Thats why i use a little epoxy on mine, still removable but that resistance might hopefully deter people thinking they will just pop right off. Also another reason was because i lost 2 of mine on the highway
