How much power does an intercooler add?

Looking to possibly get a lil more out of this car. Is an intercooler upgrade something you'd notice?

An intercooler adds consistent power rather than increase power, heat soak is public enemy number one and a small poorly located intercooler will start sapping power as the heat builds up.
A well positioned good flowing intercooler will give you consistent power, like a cold day performance every day.

If the pipe work routing to a relocated intercooler is a torturous twisting path then you may lose any gains you hoped for, worth baring in mind.
