Driving n Dallas 89 oct to 93 oct spread was .10 cents ! I historically never see it at much less than .30 spread. Winter fuel formula ? Hope it catches on as permanent spread I do like it.

Most places I have lived, all over the midwest, that's how it was. Now that I am out west it's more like what you're saying- $0.30. I much prefer the 10 cent difference.

It used to always be .20 more for premium here (.10 per step), but since the last few years it's either .40 or .60 more for premium. $1.49 for regular and 2.09 for premium right now.

93 is a solid 50-60 cents more per gallon than 87 here in CT

    Same here.
However e85 is $1.91 which is apparently high compared to the midwest.
    Corn juice for the win.

That's quite far behind :D (though definitely more expensive than what it should be in the middle east)

$1.72 is the lowest in the country for 87 octane ;-)

98 octane, in California at limited places (race tracks and maybe 1-2 stations in the bay area) is about $5-6 / gallon. The highest we get at normal stations in CA is 91.

He may mean 98RON, which is similar to 93AKI (US octane) ?

In my case I cant run regular, even without my tune, a minimum 91AKI is recommended by Audi.
Since I have a flexfuel model, I usually choose e85 which is $1.80 right now in south Florida because premium 93AKI is more like $2.50 the 70 cent spread makes up for the 25% reduced MPG with ethanol..plus the massive TQ hump... it makes the 30MPG vs 23MPG worth it.
