2016 C7.5 - USB Port Not Recognizing iPhone 6s for Audio Playback

I tried posting in the audio forum but wanted to post this here as well since we deal with our C7's on a daily basis. Hope you guys can help...

Was hoping the group would be able to help me navigate an issue that i am having related to my new 2016 Audi A6 3.0T. I have the new USB port adapters built in and when i go to plug my iPhone 6S into the port it doesn't recognize the device. I have attached images here to help explain what is going on with my car as well as the MMI version as maybe it just needs a simple update...even though i just picked up the car last week. Lastly, I was running iOS 9.2 on my phone and just updated to 9.2.1 (the most recent version last night) and still no connectivity change.

Any help would be awesome!

Hmm, that's interesting. Have you tried a different cable? I've had no issues with my iPhone in my S6 or in two loaner A6.

Im wondering if you are using an aftermarket cable between the USB port and your iPhone?

If you are, I would suggest go OEM apple, or get one from Audi. Apple devices can be very finicky if you don't use the correct lightening cable.

Pretty much every build between 9 and 9.3, including betas, across multiple phones. I'm a developer.

Running 9.2.1 currently but didn't work with 9.2 either.

Using the OEM cable straight from the box of the phone. I will try an alternate cable to see what happens - thanks

Yes it works perfectly on bluetooth so there is a work around but I just splurged for the B&O so wanna get the best audio quality possible.

I have mine plugged into port 2 although I don't know if that makes a difference. This might be obvious, but try switching the port. When plugged in, it asks me to disable Bluetooth Audio since they are the same device. I'm on iOS 9.2.1 with a OEM apple lightning cable, no B&O though, just Bose.

Just tried 3 other USB cords all apple OEM and it still does not recognizing the device.This makes no sense. I guess I will bring it up to the dealer when I take it in for the first service. Until then bluetooth it is. Thanks for your help everyone!
