    I purchased an Audi A4 2009 2.0 everything its amazing about this car except that I'm having battery or electrical problems, purchased the car with no warranty I replaced the battery with direct fit 94R-DLG, the car keeps dying after a couple weeks and gets worst with the cold tempetures so i decide to purchased the ROSS-Tech Cable and scan my car with the engine running so here are the results and again please help me

    Have you replaced the alternator/generator? looks to be that the battery isnt charging.

    In VCDS go into 19 can gateway and select measuring blocks. Select 18, 19 and 20. With the ignition on engine off you should see a power drain, with it started a power gain. With the control module for battery monitoring fault you may not get values on these blocks.

    Melghazy,

    Van462 gave great advice. With VCDS you can go to measuring block 18 of Can Gateway. Battery current is negative with the ignition on and no running motor. It should change to positive when you start the motor. If not, you have a charging problem, not a battery storage problem.
