Got rear ended.... exhaust cracked but will this fit?

Hello everyone 1st post. Wish this wasn't the topic for it but here we go. Own a b8 avant that got hit in a parking lot. Bumper punched in and diffuser cracked. Taillight destroyed and right exhaust cracked. Replaced tail light and heated up the bumper and was able to pull it out slightly. Getting what I think is a great deal on a very clean s4 exhaust from an 8.5. Everything I have been able to find online has said b8 avant and sedans have the same length exhausts. I've also seen that 8.5 ones are the same and work on b8 a sedans. So the actual question is....... will a full exhaust from a 8.5 s4 fit an 8 avant?

    Thanks

The read section might but yeah as he alluded to the 3.0T has 2 cylinder banks so the front piece won't be a plug and play. Worst case any muffler shop can custom weld some tubing to make the two exhausts work for a few hundred bucks.

You'll need an exhaust shop to make a y pipe, it will improve sound, but may increase the back pressure causing less "responce".

You would probably get banned for any meme relating to "Analspawn".

OP - Honestly, I would not waste your money on an S4 exhaust. A. It is not going to fit without being modified B. You need to know if the exhaust is for an S4 with a sports diff C. The S4 exhaust really isn't anything special.

You can always talk to your shop about getting an aftermarket exhaust with the insurance money. I would probably go with AWE (I have an S4) if I were in your position, but not sure if they have fitments for the A4.
