Deals of the week! New G6 3000K Deep Golden Yellow LEDs fog lights w/3000lm H8 / H11

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hello AZ!

We have G6 3000K LED's for H8/H11 with up to 3000 lumens on special sale.
Priced at $89.99 with free shipping in the US and Canada.
These LED's use 'PHILIPS LMZ Chips' to produce very deep golden yellow with extremely bright lights without blinding other traffic.
As we always do, we tested it by leaving it stay lit for 10 days straight and it survived from our strict testing process.
We installed it on a customer's Porsche Macan and it definitely added a aggressive look to the ride not cheap JDM wanna-be look.

We compared it to Philips 2700K LEDs.
Philips 2700K LED gives deeper yellow look that is close to amber like color while G6 LED gives brighter yellow.
    See the comparison photo.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via PM, email at [email protected] or call us at 1-888-579-5917.

    Thanks,

Mike, sorry for this silly question, but is it, "my right/as I look at the photo" or the "vehicle's right" to distinguish sides.

    Sorry for the confusion.
Right side here is right side of the photo, which is vehicle's left from driver's view.

Ok thanks Mike. Too bad you don't have any PWY24W bulbs wanted to grab a set also. Just noticed these come with 2 other filters 6500K and 8000K correct?

Well i tried ordering a few times and there's always an error on the CC for wrong address. Is your CC payment option broken?

Edit: Paypal works, is their no CC option for international customers? I'm in Canada.

Got mine earlier this week and installed today. Literally a 5 minute job.
These are H11 and massive compared to the old ones but fit right in. You do end up with a longer cable hanging behind your fender liner but doesn't look like it will matter any.
The color is interesting... VERY yellow and it skews more to the green side than orange. I was expecting the latter.
But either way, these seem like they will be highly more visible than the stock lamps, and this is during the day.
Will be interested to see how they look tonite.

Here's some quick pics and the color rendition is pretty dead nuts accurate.

This is a before/after shot with the new lamp on the passenger side and the original on the driver side...

And then this is with new lamps in both sides.

Looks good dennisA4, since replacing my headlight bulbs with the Phillips Extreme Vision DS3's i can barely see my factory fogs they were so bright. I was hoping mine would be here for the weekend.

    Thanks!
Has anyone tried any of the included films? I'm assuming the orange would make it more orange, and then the rest would be stages of whiter/bluer light.

@dennisA4 how hard is it to remove the films, can you slide the film over top or is it a tape like material?

I haven't played with them yet, i just installed the bulbs as they were. They come with orange film or orange glass, not really sure. I installed them so fast I forgot to look closer. lol
Then there are additional films that you can apply. They stick on. But the instructions don't say anything about removing the original so I'm assuming the others get applied right over the top?
    Maybe Mike@hidconcept will chime in.

Ok, thanks yah I'm assuming once you put the film on it will be pretty hard to take off if wanting to go back to stock color or change films.

How do these play with fade in/fade out of the fog lights when they act as cornering lights?

Not sure sure what your talking about here? Are you saying you vagcom'd your adaptive lights so one of your fog lights activate the same time as your adaptive cornering lights. Need a lil more info to help.

There's a VAGCOM mod to use your fog lights as cornering lights: if your headlights are on, and your turn on your turn signal OR you turn the wheel past a certain point, the fog light on that side will turn on. But rather than a simple on/off like you get when you turn the fog lights on/off, they fade in & out. That's why I never went with HIDs for my fogs: HID ballast don't like being dimmed. I have some LED fogs that work fine with this, though you never know if a particular LED driver is going to play well with this unless you try, or ask.

My car has always done that, no vag com mod needed.
I was driving with the fogs on last night so obviously it wasn't doing it. I'll keep them off tonite and let you know how that feature works.

I ordered some Philips Xtreme Vision H7 bulbs to replace the factory cornering bulbs. As the OEM bulbs seems washed out after I upgraded my DS3's. Ill let you know if its wort the upgrade.

Films are basiclaly extra stuff included.
If you want yellow light, stay with the film included with the LED's already.
If you want different color, you can slide it out as they are not sticky ones but film that slide in/out as far as I know.
