    Remote Start

After much googling, I figure I may as well just ask. How difficult would it be to install remote start on my A4? It's a stick shift, which I know really complicates things

I've done some research but problem is, most of the stuff I've found was posted years ago and thus was curious if technology has changed. I know I at least will have to leave an extra key (or at least the chip part) in the vehicle. But wanted to know if there were any systems out there which anyone has installed successfully on one of our vehicles, especially a manual edition. Thanks for the help in advance.

I always park my car in gear, rarely with the brake engaged to avoid the cable freezing and locking the rear calipers, so I'd never do it personally.

As for what would need done, you'd have to bypass the clutch pedal switch and find a way around the immobilizer. Both can be done, but the immobilizer may make things a little tricky depending on who is doing the work.
