Need Brakes (rotors and pads) any suggestions?

I searched and didn't find any threads so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a B6 S4 sedan that needs a brake job. I was wanting to buy the parts myself and install, but we couldn't find what is OEM. Does anyone know what is the orginal parts for my car? Or is there a substitute that is equally good, but not to expensive? I need rotors and pads. Thanks!

...at prices higher than you can find Stoptech/Centric rotors (I went with slotted, cryo treated) and Hawks new pads... the 5.0 that fall between the HP and the HP Plus.

Go to Tirerack for PNs and search them online. Amazon often beats pricing with Prime $0 shipping.

This since he doesn't want performance lightweight rotors like the JHM rotors. For just stock replacements then I would get Meyle rotors and Akebono or EBC Redstuff pads. However you can get Akebono pads really cheap from Advance Auto Parts and EBC Redstuff pads from Summit Racing for cheaper.

Thanks for all your help. I think I am going with Meyle rotors with Hawk HPS pads. I will check these other sites listed though for best prices.

I used Arizona Autohaus for my set of front brakes and rotors. No shipping charges if order is more than $75.00. Also, no tax if shipped out of Arizona

i went with black dimpled and slotted rotors from brakeperformance.com with Akebono Euro ceramic pads. Initial bite is a bit lacking but you get used to it, most importantly for me the OEM dust is completely gone. I installed these in the spring last year, no warping or cracking, really happy with them. They use Centric blanks and provide a lifetime warranty. They were super inexpensive too, i think i got them on sale for like $350 shipped for all 4
